It is with great excitement that we welcome Lara Whiteley to the team. As of September 24th, 2018, Lara serves as GrapeConnect’s new Operations and User Experience Manager.

Lara Whiteley began her career in the wine industry in 2013, where her winery role enabled her to gain experience in wine education and tasting room management. Wanting to expand her breadth of knowledge about other facets of the wine industry, Lara seized the opportunity to work and drive results within the distribution tier over the next 3 years of her career. Having direct experience serving stakeholders at all 3 tiers, Lara immediately understood GrapeConnect’s value proposition.
“Upon seeing the opportunity to be a part of the ground floor of a new and innovative tool that could only benefit growers and wineries alike, I knew I had to get onboard. Justin and his team have been incredibly welcoming and excited to have me as a part of the company. I am not only looking forward to seeing where this path takes me, but also the wine community as a whole,” Whiteley expresses.
Prior to her steps in the wine world, Lara received a Bachelor’s of Science from Georgia College. Her passion for agriculture began as a child on her grandparents’ farm where she helped in the garden and tended to the family’s cattle. “I see this as an opportunity to not only get back to my roots and be of aid at an agricultural level but expand my knowledge of this amazing industry even further.”
